Name: Aysha Shikhaliyeva

Age: 17 years old (date of birth: August 12, 2007)

Place of birth: Aghdash district

Diagnosis: Thalassemia

Necessary treatment: Bone marrow transplant (ilika)

Needed amount: 70,000 US dollars (119,000 manat)

Current situation: A donor from Turkey has been found, the operation is planned in the near future.

Parents: Father - Anar Shikhaliyev, mother - Shakar Shikhaliyeva

Aysha Shikhaliyeva is a young girl who has been struggling with a serious disease known as thalassemia since childhood. It is a genetic disorder in which the body is unable to produce enough hemoglobin, a vital protein that carries oxygen in the body. Because of this, Aysha has been receiving regular blood transfusions since she was three months old, which helps maintain her health at an acceptable level.

In 2015, Aysha underwent surgery to remove her spleen, but unfortunately, it did not give long-term results. However, there was a chance for a full recovery - a bone marrow transplant. This is the only way to rid Aysha of the constant need for blood transfusions and ensure her a healthy future.

Thanks to the efforts of the family and doctors, a suitable donor was found in Turkey, and now Aysha is preparing for a complex and expensive bone marrow transplant. The operation is extremely necessary and urgent, but the amount required for it is 70,000 US dollars, which is equivalent to 119,000 manats. For the Shikhaliyev family, this amount is unaffordable.

Aysha's parents, Anar and Sakar Shikhaliyev, asked for help from all caring people. Every contribution can help save this wonderful girl's life and give her a chance for a healthy and happy life. Your help can make the impossible possible.
