On March 21, an international rhythmic gymnastics tournament was held in Dubai.
The best rhythmic gymnastics schools and athletes from 12 countries (Kazakhstan, UAE, Poland, Kyrgyzstan, Czech Republic, Uzbekistan, Philippines, Russia, Azerbaijan, Kuwait, USA, Switzerland) took part in the championship. This is the first international tournament "Alem International", which was held in the sports complex Hamdan. Azerbaijan was represented by Angel Vafa Seyid gizi, who won a gold medal and raised our flag.
It is worth noting that this is not the first victory of the 12-year-old Angel Vafa. She has been doing rhythmic gymnastics since the age of 3, and during this time she won 4 gold and 3 silver medals at many international competitions held in Azerbaijan. She also trains for competitive swimming and equestrian competitions in addition to professional gymnastics.
Angel Vafa, who recently participated in the World Scholars Cup forum, which was held among schoolchildren at the European School, was awarded 4 gold and 3 silver medals. In addition, she received the right to participate in one of the forums to be held in Izmir (Turkey), London (Great Britain) and Tokyo (Japan).
